Happy New Year!! It’s our year as burning and shining lights!! Yes I know, I have not posted anything new in so long…..and I have so much to tell you!! But first stop YOOKOS!! Pastor Chris unveiled this brand new addition to the social network scene as he welcomed us into the new year 2011. Yookos is short for “You own the Cosmos”; now doesn’t that just sound like Pastor Chris??
Someone might say why do we another social network? Yookos is not another social network, it’s the social network of choice; it’s the only network with PastorChrisLive; it’s the only network with messages live from the man of God Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. Even if I already belonged to other networks, just the opportunity to connect directly with the man of God Pastor Chris is reason enough for me to sign up with Yookos….oh boy, I’m excited!! Just imagine a community of like-minded people, burning and shining for the Lord Jesus Christ – Yookos is it!! And the name Yookos….let me shout about that for a minute!! Hey!! The bible says we are the seed of Abraham and God willed the whole world to Abraham and to his seed – we own the world! So every time you sign in on Yookos, you are testifying to that truth, the world belongs to you!! You cannot be broke! You cannot be poor! You cannot be jobless….no one can resist the word of God in your mouth – as you preach the word of God, many will be turned to righteousness. Now tell me what other social network does this for you!!

There is just something about Pastor Chris that causes anything and everything he touches to grow. he called it, the ‘mimshak’ anointing. What is that? For the past couple of days on LoveWorld Sat, I watched as different people wished my Pastor, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome a Happy Birthday and I wondered what I would say if I was asked….so, here goes!!!
First, I would start by shouting, jumping, dancing and screaming, all at the same time……..then I would calm down knowing I was in front of the camera and compose myself. Then, clearing my throat, I would probably scream “Pastor Chris, I looooooooove yoooou…Happy Birthday” and after taking a deep breadth, I would look straight into the camera and say:
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you”; you know I looked up this scripture in more contemporary translations and I came close to tears because if not that I met Pastor Chris Oyakhilome when I did, I would have lived a wasted life. My beloved Daddy, Pastor Chris, “every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God”. This message that you have given me, truly, has given my life a meaning. My life would have been empty without the opportunity to join hands with you and give lives a meaning. When I saw you Pastor Chris, I saw Jesus in a man but when I heard your message – Jesus stood up alive from the written pages of the bible.
Oh sweet Pastor Chris, “I give praise to God at every memory of you”. Thank you for your love, thank you, thank you and thank you again. I know you know this but Pastor dear Pastor, I thank my God every time I remember you!!! On behalf of all of us on the Shouts Blog….Happy Birthday Sir!! Happy Birthday to the world’s best Dad!! The No 1 Coach!! The Pastor of Pastors!! God’s Special gift to our world!!

Dear Tammy,
Greetings to you in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ; I became a fan of Pastor Chris through your blog and I have listened to him ever since. You know, apart from the inspiration and spiritual impartation I continually receive, I have noticed something extraordinary – this might sound “carnal” but, I’ll go ahead and say it anyway, I am captivated by his dress sense; he is a style icon.
In every sense of the word, Pastor Chris has definitely got style and much more. It’s a mélange of charisma and deity. More than his dress sense, it’s his presentation of divine truth, the poise and the calm that he exhibits, that makes him so much more stylish. There’s a lot of power in the way he carries himself and the message he preaches. His wavy hair adds to his personality, His strong, traditional suits, bold power ties, subtle pocket squares and weighty cuff links and his well maintained body makes him very smart.
His handsome look with his message of grace, his charisma, his message, and his humility, all add up to his cool style icon image. His charm and personality is built from inside on what he wears, and it is a part of the whole package, his entire image is directed on perfection and super excellence. Pastor Chris’ personal style is worthy of acknowledgment and emulation. He is definitely setting the right tone as a fashion icon.
And before you wonder if I’ve gone “off my rockers”, the scriptures suggest to me that our Lord Jesus was a style icon in the days of his earthly ministry. Remember that on the day of his crucifixion, Roman soldiers who I believe must have been well paid at their time because they were government officials divided Jesus clothes amongst themselves and cast lots for his coat. They must have been good quality – designer wears.

How do you know someone has got style? How are you able to access how stylish a person is? Is it all about a fashion sense? I think it is much more than that – it is something that exudes from a deeper sense of knowing who you are and what clothing would best complement your personality and body.
