Just how old is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome? As the author of the Nos 1 Blog on Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, I have been asked this question countless times….thus, the reason for this post.
Pastor Chris says he has been in ministry for over twenty[20] years, and we know that he was actively involved with ministry from his youth – he organized crusades where the sick were healed and hundreds were saved as a teenager. So fill in your answer, just how old do you think Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is?
Well, now that you have set your mind to the task, I have a question for you – why is it so important to you how old a man of God is? What causes the blessings of God he carries to flow into your life, his age or the anointing he carries? It doesn’t really matter whether he is young or old, black or white, tall or short….all these physical attributes are not necessary for God to use a man. After all, he spoke through a donkey to correct the “madness” of a Prophet. When asked about his age in an exclusive interview with National Standard – a leading news magazine in Nigeria, he had this to say:
Q – How old is Pastor Chris? There is a mystery surrounding your age; no birthday greetings in the papers carry your age. Ans – Well, I would say I am a bit fascinated by the media creation of a mystery because none of us created it. I went to schools and so must have registered with my age declarations, I have a passport and my date of birth must be there. I have filled so many forms throughout this country. So for anybody to suggest that there is a mystery about my age seems mischievous. So I think I would rather leave it that way. Q – Will you like to solve the mystery for us? Ans – No, it seems mischievous and ridiculous, but maybe I have enjoyed the mystery created by the media over the issue and would just let it be.
So why not let the matter rest? Well just in case you are still not satisfied, I promise to ask Pastor Chris himself once I get the opportunity to get my very own Shouts Blog exclusive interview. But remember, the more important thing is the anointing of the Spirit of God and you will agree that whether or not we know how old he is exactly, we know that he is anointed of God.

Why are you obsessed with age? If Pastor Chris does not want to celebrate his birthday then that is his right. Why should you want to force him to celebrate it. Did Christ ever celebrate his birthday? Celebrate the glory of God and his gift of eternal life instead. I urrge you to let the light of Christ shine in your heart. All this nonsense about how old the man is is irrelevant. If you know the man’s age will that catapult you to the mountain of God’s? Sometime deep within my spirit i know Gods children have not been taught on the subject of “spiritual authority” What matters is not his age but the Authority he possesses in the realm of the spirit and the understanding he has of that realm. May people not confuse issues here -the issue of age and how anointed a person is are not that related. Its just like someone asking how many kids does your pastor have? It’s just people wanting to know a person’s private life.Just like someone just wants to know who mentored pastor Chris; which PhD does he have?I think that’s the reason behind any genuine follower of pastor Chris may ask for his age.For example I was inspired to know Joyce Meyer’s age and relate to how young her face looks;I learnt that by serving God your physical strength is revived.Why were all the ages mentioned in the Bible eg Moses died at 120yrs. its amazing how the subject has fascinated so many people, i don’t think the age of a man of God is whats most important, God’s criteria for anointing a man to do His work isn’t by the number of days he’s spent on planet earth. After all God choose David over his older brothers, God Choose Joseph over his older ones as well and from a very young age the Bible records that God did great things through them and with them.
Pastor is a VERY anointed Man of God, the facts speaks for itself.
I will rather concentrate on the magnitude of the power of God working through him so that i can always get the best from the anointing that he carries rather than worry about when he was born into this physical world.
I guess the reason some people might be interested in Pastor’s age is probably because of our mind set in this part of the world, some people believe that a “young man” cannot know and be able to do so much. They want to humanly explain everything, and compare those they think have been around much longer with him.
But thank God, God doesn’t reason things out like us, alleluya!

According to history Jesus was 33yrs old before he left this earth so Pastor Chris must have age. I guess Pastor Chris should be between 46-47yrs old. But really age ain’t the matter but impact.

If age is not really an issue, then why is the Pastor not just revealing it anyway, since some people just want to kno.its just like the age of the president, everyone who wants, knows about it and this does not change anything at all. There is nothing to hide if you are a public figure, apart from the things you offer (anointing in this case) some people still want to kno more about you. thats why his marital status, his home country etc have been revealed, not that it changes the anointing he has. So i say if there is nothing mystreous, then just reveal it. It myt be on the passport or many forms that the pastor has filled, but not everyone has access to that information. So if others know, why not just let evryone know!!!!

Physical age don’t matter, what matters is how old are you as a spiriual being( as one who’s born again) You age in Jesus should define the whole concept of the new you and it should be all that matters.

Why will anyone worry about someone else’s age. It is not really important. Pastor Chris is my pastor and he is as young as he was when I knew him and all his life he will ever looks younger. Do you know what, the anointing doesn’t grow old, so stop bothering urself with his age.

Truly, whoever wants to know the age of our own life-coach should get to Ekpoma and do the research. We know that was where he graduated from and like he said he filled forms with his age declaration, there is no mystery about it at all. Get busy with the irrelevant but for me, he is the Man of God for our generation and his message has and always will be AGELESS.

Pastors age does not matter to me. his words are priceless and inspiring and i get blessed by it everyday. Am glad am born for such a time as this to witness the glory of Gods word through our man of God PAstor Chris. You are like the jews who seek a sign. Jesus said no sign shall be given to them, except the sign of Jonah.
You believe that it will not kill you to know Pastor’s age even though you know that knowing his age is irrelevant. What if that knowledge could destroy you? For instance, it could make you see the Man of God as an ordinary man, thus making you unable to benefit from his anointing like u used to. My advice to you is since you have concluded that it is irrelevant, then let go! The Spirit of God will let us know when we come of age spiritually. We are all still growing. Don’t put the cart before the horse. Ask yourself “the knowledge that I have already acquired about Pastor Chris what have I done with it??? Instead of wanting to know his age at whatever cost!

The bible says that we should focus on spiritual things not petty things about age.Remember also that your thots about this issue reflect to the whole world what kind of a person you are.I would advise u to focus on the message that the man of God delivers and not on whether it wont kill you to know his age.
